Drag queen Jaiden speaks these words from offstage to a teenage girl named Jen as Meredith Brooks’ “I’m a Bitch” plays out of a lone speaker tucked in a corner of a small, black stage. Jen begins singing, and the audience joins in during the chorus, their voices loud and not completely off key....
